Bois Durci was used as an ebony or hard wood substitute. It was made from hard wood sawdust mixed with animal blood that was heated and compressed in a mould. In good condition with a repair to the reverse in the area of the suspension loop. No damage to the front of the roundel. Approximate weight is 114 grams. Approximate diameter is 11. 3 cm.
